Energy is essential for animal performance and health. While carbohydrates and fats are the main dietary compounds animals metabolize to generate energy, animals can also efficiently and effectively generate energy (glucose) through a metabolic pathway called gluconeogenesis. This occurs when certain non-carbohydrates – including fats (lipids) and proteins – are metabolized.
ENERCORE-Plus provides fast, readily available glucose to help fuel – and sustain – your animal’s growth and performance. A rapid response to stress demands that animals have a readily available glucose source. Glucose fuels not only your animal’s response to stress, but also its immune function, body condition, muscle development, bone strength, and hair quality.
The proprietary mix of substrates (glycols and propionates) and co-factors (including encapsulated choline) optimizes energy metabolism by enabling greater ATP production from glucose via gluconeogenesis, while the encapsulated choline helps support liver function, particularly during periods of stress. It’s safe to include ENERCORE-Plus in a variety of livestock diets, including beef cattle, dairy cattle, pigs, and poultry.

There are two ways to feed ENERCORE-Plus:
1. Add on top of your traditional energy sources
2. Partially replace your traditional energy sources
For ruminant diets (beef and dairy cattle), supplement ENERCORE-Plus at 20 g/hd/d.
For monogastric diets (pigs and poultry), supplement ENERCORE-Plus at 2 lb/ton. -
